The verified US set includes i10 (also i11/AL5/C1 — a water-inlet problem, usually a closed tap, low pressure, or a clogged inlet-hose filter), i20 (a drain problem, most often a disposer knockout plug left in place, a pinched hose, or a clogged glass trap/filter), and i30 (a leak or flood-switch trip in the base pan, often from oversudsing or a dirty door seal). i40 on US models specifically means a clogged filter or sump from built-up food soil, cleared by cleaning the glass trap and filter and re-running the cycle. Further codes include i50 (wash-motor or circulation-pump malfunction), i60 (a heating problem, often inlet water above 60°C or a filter/sump blockage), i70 (a sump thermistor failure), i80 (an EEPROM or memory communication error), i90 (a control-board configuration issue), and iF0/iF1 (a water-level sensing problem, usually foam or debris in the filter/sump). Status indicators LOC (door locked, normal), CL/Cd (door open or not latched), Hd/HO (heat-delay status), and PF (a power loss — clear by pressing Start or Cancel) are not problems. Many i-codes are owner-fixable: cleaning the filter and glass trap, checking the drain hose for a kink, and confirming the disposer knockout plug was removed clears most i10/i20/i40 calls. An i30 leak code should be treated seriously and the unit left off until the source is found. Routine care prevents most calls — rinse the filter regularly, run hot water at the sink before starting, use the correct detergent amount, and keep the spray arms spinning freely.
