Electrolux markets ice makers as 15-inch ICON undercounter units, plus the automatic icemaker built into a refrigerator. Current models include the E15IM60EBS, E15IM60GPS, E15IM60EPS, left-hinge UL15IM20RS and right-hinge UR15IM20RS; the legacy EI15IM55GS is supported as a repair lookup.
What the technology means for service
These undercounter units produce Crystal Clear Ice with a 30 lb storage bin and roughly 60 lb/day production, with a Blue LED Display on some models and Delay Mode, Energy Saving Mode and self-defrosting on the current ADA-compliant UL15IM20RS/UR15IM20RS pair. The automatic icemaker built into a refrigerator is a different module, serviced as part of refrigeration work and identified by the host refrigerator’s model number. Identifying an undercounter unit or an in-fridge module tells a technician which inlet valve, harvest module, pump or drain a repair involves.
